About the Role:

Diebold Nixdorf is looking for an Advanced Applications Programming Analyst to join its global technology team. In this role, you’ll work with computer-based information systems, software applications, and hardware to design, administer, develop, and maintain enterprise technology products. You’ll cooperate directly with internal teams and external vendors to ensure business-critical ITSM solutions perform optimally.

This position requires a self-driven professional with advanced knowledge of OpenText Service Management and ITSM tools. You will contribute to administration, troubleshooting, continual service enhancements, and automation while supporting complex business requirements with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer, operate, and develop ITOM suite of products with focus on Service Management applications.
  • Support business requirements for new technology as approved by ITSM leadership.
  • Solve complex problems while maintaining the integrity of ITSM toolsets.
  • Drive continual service enhancements to improve service effectiveness and reduce failures.
  • Organize, analyze, interpret, and classify business and technical data.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, solution owners, and service owners.
  • Act as point person for quality and documentation (project documentation, knowledge base, error documentation).
  • Communicate designs and solutions to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including documenting all system changes.
  • Establish and revise databases by coordinating with analysts and programmers.
  • Maintain confidentiality of tools and data.
  • Use sound judgment when making elevated administrative changes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
  • Advanced knowledge of OpenText Service Management platform (must-have).
  • Proven expertise in root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
  • 3+ years of experience with Incident, Change, Problem, and Request management processes.
  • Strong hands-on experience with installing, configuring, and managing ITSM tools.
  • Experience applying OS patches and security updates.
  • Knowledge of VMware or similar virtualization platforms.
  • Strong English communication skills (spoken, written, and read).
  • Incident/Problem management certifications are an advantage.
  • ITIL and Agile/Scrum certifications are a plus.
  • Experience implementing other ITSM platforms is a plus.
